Day-by-day plan

  1. 1

    Day 1: Bus from Skopje

  2. 2

Day 2: St John at Kaneo

Coastal boardwalk to the famous clifftop church, then a swim from the pebble coves below.

  3. 3

Day 3: Boat to St Naum

Cheap public boat south to St Naum monastery and its springs. Lunch on lake trout.

  4. 4

    Day 4: Galičica views

Morning hike in Galičica National Park for views over two lakes, then the bus back to Skopje.

  • Guesthouses (sobi) are cheaper than hotels. Look for signs on doors.
  • Avoid late July–August, when prices rise.

  1. Flights: search your dates and number of travellers.
  2. Stay: book a hotel or apartment. Partners show the total room price, not per person.
  3. Transfers and tours: add the airport ride and any activities.

Travelling as a family or group? Use the "Entire homes & apartments" filter on the stay site. A flat with a kitchen often costs less per person than hotel rooms. School-holiday dates usually cost more than our estimates.
